Dick Haworth We need a Congressman who will fight for sound economic decisions and the creation of more jobs in our state and country.  Jay Riemersma will not buckle under pressure to raise taxes to pay for more government expansions when our need is for less government that is more efficient.
Peter Secchia The MBT is unfair to small business and could be the worst tax in the country.  It should never have passed the Michigan legislature.  West Michigan job providers need to unite behind Jay Riemersma so that the 2nd district has a Congressman who will not raise taxes when he gets to Washington DC.

His career in the NFL enabled him to embrace teammates from all walks of life and every possible background. Brian Westrate Dear citizens of Michigan’s second district,  As the Chairman of the Republican Party of Eau Claire County in Wisconsin I do not often concern myself with Congressional races in other parts of the country. Indeed it is only because of a truly exciting candidate that I would focus any of my already stretched resources outside of my home community. Jay Riemersma is just such a candidate.   Having gotten to know Jay outside of the political arena I was very pleased to learn of his candidacy. It seems as though every step along Jay’s life path has lead him to this moment and has prepared him to be able to represent the people of Michigan’s second district with honesty and integrity. Due to Jay’s career in the NFL he is uniquely situated to be able to legislate from a position of strength and integrity as he works for the people. To put it another way Jay will not be susceptible to the external pressures that are so often brought to bear on our elected representatives. It makes me smile just to think of some egg-head lobbyist trying to twist Jay’s arm. I can barely reach Jay’s arm!  We mid-westerners need to stick together. With all possible sincerity I encourage the people of the second to support Jay Riemersma for Congress. The second will be well served by Jay’s principled conservative leadership.  The country seems to want change. How about we send someone other than a politician to Washington! Amy Renberg I believe that Jay Riemersma is the right person to represent Michigan’s 2nd Congressional District.  I wholeheartedly endorse him for the position.
Ryan Keenan Jay is prepared to offer a real and substantive alternative to the policies of liberal governance that we know simply don’t work. I am a tax attorney and agree with him that our tax code needs an overhaul!
